Is This What You Mean By Choice 2012

On 22 January 1973 the Supreme Court issued 2 rulings that will go down in history as the most horribly infamously wrong decisions the Court ever made. For the few people who have no idea what I am talking about that is the day that their rulings on Roe v Wade & Doe v Bolton allowed abortion for virtually every reason from the 1st mpment of conception to birth.
For the past 7 years NARAL Pro-Choice America has been running Blog for Choice Day as a way to celebrate a woman's right to choose abortion. However, the 1 word they carefully avoid in their celebration of abortion is abortion.  They talk about "reproductive rights" or "choice". But they almost always avoid the choice they are talking about, abortion.
That avoidance of the word abortion is a bit ironic given that NARAL began as the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws. Later they became the National Abortion Rights Action League, & then the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League. It was in 2005 when they cut out the word abortion & added Pro-Choice instead.
They stopped using the word abortion because more & more people are waking up to the fact that abortion is wrong. So they talk about choice isntead because it sounds so innocent. But make no mistake, they are talking about abortion. & not as 1 option of many, but the only option. We have seen that with their recent attempts to shut down Crisis Pregnancy Centers, prevent women from having sonograms & the like. For them, it is abortion only.
This year they are putting special emphasis on working to elect candidates who support their position. They saw what happened last year as more & more of the truth about the abortion industry got out. That truth, that the abortion industry is willing to cover up rape, incest, white slavery as well as how unsafe many abortion mills are, coming out resulted in huge losses of support as well as funding. This year they know even more than ever they have to avoid the word abortion & paint this as something other than what it is.
Last year, Pro-Life bloggers said enough. Lead by Jill Stanek the 1st annual "Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’ Blog Day,” aka “Blog Against Pro-Abort Cover-Up Rhetoric for Killing Children Day,”  was held. 99 Pro-life bloggers, including me, & countless activists overwhelmed 90 pro-abortion bloggers. By midmorning NARAL had to abandon its Twitter hashtag #BlogforChoiceDay because us Pro-lifers took it over.
This year, the call has gone out to do it again. & again the charge is being led by Jill Stanek @ her blog. (Announcing 2nd Annual “Ask Them What They Mean by ‘Choice’” Blog Day, January 22 ) The process is simple.  "On January 22, any time you read pro-aborts spouting obscure “choice” rhetoric on a blog, website, Facebook, or Twitter, call them out on it. Ask them to explain what the “choice” euphemism means. Tweeters plan to use their #Tweet4Choice hashtag.
If you are a blogger, plan on posting about “choice” on January 22."
If you do participate, Email Jill the name & url of your blog. She will post you as a participant. Feel free to use the graphic above. Thanks to pro-life graphic designer Kimberly of Spectacle Graphics for creating it.
NARAL has a list of those participating in their blog day that you can choose from to respond to their posts. Do not be surprized to find out your comments get deleted later if the blog automaticly posts them. Or that they don't get approved if the comments arer moderated. As I said in a post on this last year: "The truth is, they don't want to have an honest discussion about what they mean by choice. To do so means that they would admit what it is they want to happen is that an abortion will take place." All they want to do is promote their side & lie about the Pro-life side. As I pointed out in another post, they are afraid of a fair & honest debate. All they want to do when it comes to the Pro-life side is spew out huge amounts of hate & vitreol towards us.
However, we are not to respond in kind. Ask them what they mean by choice, point out where they are misrepresenting us & challenge their claims in a peaceful, respectful way. We have truth on our side so we don't need to resort to their tactics.
1 thing that this will do, is let those who are supporting "choice" know that they are not going to go unchallenged in their attempts to sugar coat what they want.

blogs to go back & check later to see if they posted my comment

Yesterday I took part in the “Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’” Blog Day" that Jill Stanek called for. As I shared in a post yesterday, I was going to be interested to see what happenned at the sites as I added my comments. Some of the blogs were set up to appear like I have this blog set up, after moderation. Among those moderated posts I commented on were these 3:
Blog for Choice 2011: Antichoice Gains in the States and the Future of Reproductive Rights
Blog for Choice
Blog for Choice – Be encouraged…

I just went back a while ago & 24 hours none of them had put up my comments, even though 2 of the 3 did post comments that were made after mine. The most egregious ignoring of my comments was by the person who runs the 3rd blog (Blog for Choice - Be Encouraged). She goes by the name Shark-fu & calls her blog AngryBlackB***h. (Since she isn't refering to a female dog, I am cleaning it up a bit. In my comments I talked about Margaret Sanger & her racist eugenics goal to eliminate blacks. I also my Italiano ancestors to make it clear I was talking 1sthand about the results. & she didn't have the courage to post it.

But she did post acomment by Anonymous that was written well after mine @ 6:47 pm:
"The abortion debate is such an interesting one because those "pro life" folks are not interested in keeping black or brown babies alive, they are concerned about white babies being aborted. This is it in a nutshell. They are trying to fool folks but they can't. They are trying to restrict all women so they can "save" white babies. As always, their stance is firmly planted in the aryan, white power camp. They are insane."

Her response to this post: "You've got it!"

Anonymous put up some of the typical lies & slander the pro-aborts use to cover up the truth, that it is Planned Parenthood etc, who are the real racists. It is clear that she is willing to spread lies about the Pro-life movement while ignoring the truth about Margaret Sanger. & in doing so, helping to kill her fellow blacks. So I made the following follow-up on hers that I highly doubt she will have the courage to put it up either:

"Shark-fu, I notice you were too much of a coward to publish my comments which prove the lie told by anonymous about how we only care about white babies. Margaret Sanger was the fan of Hitler & his Arian eugenics policy, not Pro-lifers. Apparently you approve of Margaret Sanger's agenda to get rid of blacks. It seems that it is really you who are trying to get rid of black & brown babies. Those of us in the Pro-life movement give a damn about all babies, regardless of skin color. & we do all we can to help women regardless of skin color before & after she has the child. So, even though I am sure you won't have the courage to admit the truth, at least you have been confronted with it."

I expect it won't be put up, nor do I expect a reply.

Then I went back to this one to see if my comments were kept up or taken down like those at the NARAL blog were: Blog For Choice day!! Yup, they were gone. No surprize. Still even if most of those us pro-lifers put up yesterday were taken down, as 1 peson said to me, they "had to read them". & maybe some seeds were planted.
1 last comment. It is very clear that the pro-aborts have NOT gotten the message about Obama's call to civility. The vitriol was just dripping in some of the "Choice" (re Pro-abortion) posts yesterday. 2 of the biggest targets were Pro-life Crisis Pregnancy Centers (because Pro-aborts know they do prevent abortions) & Jill Stanek because of her spearheading the efforts for our response. But as Jesus said "Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12)

Blog for Choice Afraid to Answer This Question

As I mentioned yesterday, today is "Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice? Blog Day". in response to NARAL's Blog for Choice Day today. So I am trying to find blogs & put up the question about what they mean.
A few minutes ago I posted this over at the Today is Blog for Choice Day! post @ Blog for Choice: "So what type choice are you talking about. Chosing a movie, or a CD? Why are you afraid to say that you are blogging for women to be able to have an abortion as that is what you are really talking about?" As expected, it has already been deleted.
So, I just posted this: "So, I see you already deleted my earlier question. Why are you afraid to have an honest discussion that the choice you are talking about is having an abortion????"
It didn't stay up for even a minute.
The truth is, they don't want to have an honest discussion about what they mean by choice. To do so means that they would admit what it is they want to happen is that an abortion will take place. Saying "pro-choice" rather the more accurate "pro-abortion" makes it sound a lot nicer.
Everyone of us is pro-choice in some way. When that choice is something like bacon or sausage, spumoni or choclate chip mint, shoes or sandals & the like, I am all for you having the right to chose.
But when the choice is to commit murder or rape etc, then I am as anti-choice as they come. Those are never a valid choice to make.
This is why we have to hold their feet to the fire about what they mean by choice. & the fact that by saying they are in favor of chosing an abortion they are in favor of abortion because they see it as a valid choice.
Well, time to go back & post the question on other pro-abort blogs & see how they respond.

21 January 2011 Is "Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’ Blog Day”!

Last night I received the following in an- e-mail from the Pro-Life Blogs administrator:

NARAL announced a "Blog for Choice Day," to be held this Friday, January 21, in celebration of the upcoming 38th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision that has led to the killing of 50 million babies in America.
Pro-life bloggers are banding together to sponsor a counter "Ask Them What They Mean When They Say 'Choice' Blog Day" on the same day, January 21.

A link to a post with more information on Jill Stanek's blog was included.

Here is a part of the initial post:

1/18, 4:22p: When NARAL announced a “Blog for Choice Day,” to be held this Friday, January 21, my blood boiled.
How dare they celebrate the upcoming 38th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision with their ambiguous claptrap.
Over 50 million babies have been killed in America since that terrible day, most certainly nothing to cheer about, unless you’re in Rome at the Colosseum perhaps.
So pro-life bloggers are banding together to sponsor a counter “Ask Them What They Mean When They Say ‘Choice’ Blog Day” on the same day, January 21.
We’re also encouraging all pro-lifers on Twitter and Facebook to participate.
The idea is simple. Any time any of us reads pro-aborts spouting their obscure “choice” rhetoric on a blog, website, Facebook, or Twitter, we call them out on it. We ask them to explain what the “choice” is.
Is it to eat carrots rather than broccoli? To wear red instead of blue? No, of course “choice” is code for killing babies. What’s their problem with the A-word?
Yes, this is a shameless scheme to suck oxygen out of the pro-aborts’ social media universe, to deny them any time whatsoever to support abortion without defending it.

Like Jill, my blood boiled when I read this. & I decided I had to promote the counter “Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’ Blog Day”!. 50 million plus babies need us to speak up that what happenned to them was NOT just a choice. They had their lives taken away from them
I have made this point about what "Pro-choice" means when they use it in this blog & elsewhere. They say we aren't pro-abortion, we a re pro-choice. The Pro-aborts like to cover up what choice it is they are promoting. The choice they are in favor being allowed to make is abortion. But they avoid saying it. Well, it is time for us to stand up & make it clear that we know what choice they want is. The right to chose an abortion. & if you are in favor of making that choice then you are in pro-abortion since you see abortion as something that it OK to make a choice for.
Often they have tried to deny that. All they are doing is supporting a person's right to choose. But let's look at a couple other "choices" & see if the logic holds up. How many people are pro-choice when it comes to murder, or rape? How about owning slaves? Not many. Why, because the choice to murder etc is to coose something wrong. & deep down, despite denials to the contrary, they know that abortion is a form of murder that kills the most helpless of all, the unborn. Pro-choice is just a euphemism to soften up &/or cover up the truth.
It is time for us to call them on it, esp on the eve of the Anniversary of Roe v Wade & Doe v Bolton that has allowed those 50 million plub babies to die rather than live. Silence is not an option. If you have an hour, or several, please do what you can.
In the post there are additional ideas about how to also use Twitter & Facebook to respond to their actions. So go over to Jill's post to get some ideas & guidelines. Then join us tommorrow as we ask them the question they don't want asked "What do you mean by choice?"
