For Planned Parenthood, Tis the Season to Promote Abortion

A couple days ago I put up a post about what Planned Parenthood was up to in Alaska. At the end I commented " PP is continuing its blasphemous tradition of mocking God as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. & I suspect this is only the start. More local PPs will probably follow suite." Well, it didn't take long for me to find out how right I was.

Jill Stanek put up a post on her blog Friday looking at what Planned Parenthood was doing to promote their twisted spirit that mocks the real spirit of the season.

At the start of my post I mentioned how many PPs have promoted abortion via their "Choice on Earth" campaign. Apparently it hasn't been super successful But 1 PP affiliate is still going with it. In this case it is PP of Western PA with this card (click on it to enlarge):

For those who don't get it, they aren't promoting peace on Earth, they are promoting abortion. That is the choice they are talking about. This is clearly a blasphemous mockery of the angels message to the shepherds of "Peace on Earth, good will to men" (Luke 2:14) as they were told of the birth of Jesus, the Messiah.

Next up we head down to Florida. There PP of North FL is again selling its sugar cookies as a great gift. Each cookie is individually wrapped in a way that looks very much like the packaging an individual condom comes in (picture @ right). I find it ironic that they describe it as a "traditional" sugar cookie since PP does all it call to undermine tradition. But since it is frosted & has the PP logo on it, their idea of tradition is a mockery of the real thing as well. & they aren't exactly cheap either. I love what Jill Stanek had to say about the packaging: "Maybe hook-ups taken by surprise when opening these little square package will stop what they’re doing and eat a cookie instead."

Then she heads up to Alaska & the "Mitzvah Mall" event that PP is taking part in. She had this to say about PPGNW's claim that the certificates they are selling “cannot be designated to pay for abortion procedures” but only to “help pay for birth control pills, educational opportunities and other services provided by the organization.”: "That’s just an accounting charade, but what does it matter anyway? Why is it not ok to donate for abortions?" As I pointed out the other day, the money they will raise at the event is fungable. & it will, even if only indirectly, support abortions at PPGNW.

But she does raise a good question. If abortion is OK as PP claims, why not donate to provide them? Speaking of their rhetoric, I had to laugh at a line in their 2009 report. In it they talk about the "uncertainty of a new presidential administration". The only uncertainty they had with the Obama administration was how quickly he would be able to do PP's bidding. Beyond that, they knew they would have him at their beck & call.

Jill Stanek then gives them a suggestion for what I would call a "truth in labeling" promo. It truly is the perfect gift item to sell:

Something tells me, however, that PP won't take her up on this as the shirts are put out by a Pro-life Christian group. (BTW: The link for the shirt takes you to a page that looks for shirts that mention PP. Some are Pro-Life, some pro-PP. Note the difference in prices.) Additionally, these shirts come a little to close to the truth. If PP had been arround at the time of Jesus (or Marie Stopes for that matter) they would have been pushing Mary to have an abortion to cover up her "infidelity" to Joseph as they would have put it.

While you are entitled to your opinion on being vegan, until you get evry lion, tiger, bear, cat 7 other mammal to stop eating meat don't expect me to stop being a carnivore. & most of them don't suffer from heart disease, etc. It is more than eating or not eating meat, it is a healthy diet over all. 7 even then some people I know who took perfect care of themselves still had problems because they were genetically inclined.

Besides, humans are made in the image & likeness of God, animals aren't.
