"You gotta watch out for kids like this." *

You would think that a person would know better than to mess with the daughter of someone who has played both a cop, Det. Sgt. Philip "Phil" Cerreta on Law & Order, & a mobster, Paul Cicero in Goodfellas, especially if that someone is of Italiano heritage. To do so is, plain & simple, PAZZO! Apparently Daniel Snee didn't, & he is. According to a report on PeoplePC's website Mr. Snee showed up at a hotel where Paul Sorvino's daughter Amanda was staying.
"Amanda Sorvino testified Snee threatened to kill her at a hotel Jan. 3 in Stowe, Vt.; she said she locked herself in the bathroom and called both police and her father. Her 67-year-old father showed up before police, she testified. When police arrived, the young man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, she said."
When Paul Sorvino showed up he pulled the gun he brought with him. " "He got in my father's face and said, 'Go ahead, Paul, shoot, I ain't done nothing wrong,'" Amanda Sorvino, 36, told a Monroe County judge. The judge granted her request for a protection-from-abuse order against Daniel Snee, 21. "
No charges were filed against Paul Sorvino. (Nor should there be.)
I won't say that Mr. Snee was dumb. The events speak for themselves. It is just that it is common sense to know that Italiano fathers are protective of their daughters, no matter how old they are. Paul Sorvino did what was right & in the best way possible.
I know that the moonbat anti-gun ownership gang will scream about how horrible it was for him to show up with a gun. It wasn't. What this should do is put him in the running for Father of the Year as Vir Speluncae Catholicus of The Lair of the Catholic Cavemen said.
This whole incident brought back to me a memory from a show Paul Sorvino was in from 2000-2002, That's Life. In it he played Frank DeLucca, the father of Lydia DeLucca. In the 1st episode Lydia told him that she was quiting her job, breaking up with her boyfriend & going back to college. The reason, she wanted to find herself. His comment to her was 1 that I think has a depth of truth to it that I doubt the writers realized. He told her: "You want to find yourself? Go to Mass!" Now there is a father who knows what he's talking about. A man who is Father of the Year material.
