What Cecile Richards Said About Komen & What It Really Means

After Koman for the Cure made the announcement of the apparent reversal in their policy Cecille Richards, CEO of Planned Parenthood issued a statement that pretty much confirms Komen is going to continue its relationship with Planned Parenthood. I won't go into all the lies in that statement as they have been covered in a multitude of other posts in my blog & elsewhere. But there is 1 section I would like to look at & read between the lines to get at what Richards is really saying.

"In recent weeks, the treasured relationship between the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and Planned Parenthood has been challenged, and we are now heartened that we can continue to work in partnership toward our shared commitment to breast health for the most underserved women. We are enormously grateful that the Komen Foundation has clarified its grantmaking criteria, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Komen partners, leaders and volunteers. " (emphasis mine)

"the treasured relationship" Yes it is true PP treasured the relationship. But why. Because Komen has provided PP with a cover to PP that it could hide behind. PP could say that they are providing women with something more than abortion. They could say that they are helping the poor & underserved.

"has been challenged" What was challenged was that cover. With Komen backing off, the truth about what PP really does in comparison to what it claims to do no longer had a cover to keep it in the dark. so the truth could be brought to light. People would be asking questions that PP didn't want to answer. Questions like "Why iis Komen no longer funding you if you are doing so much to provide mammograms etc to detect breast cancer early?" People might start taking a look at what PP actual does as compared to what they try & make people think they do. People may also find out that the amount Komen gives isn't this huge amount that PP wants people to think it is & that without it, any work they do to detect breast cancer would be completely scuttled.

"We are enormously grateful . . . .Komen . . . .clarified its grantmaking criteria," Yes they are grateful at Planned Parenthood, grateful that their mafioso style strong arm tactics have worked & they have dragged Komen back into the fold just like Michael Corleone in Godfather 3:

"we look forward to continuing our partnership with Komen partners" We are breathing a huge sigh of relief that our fig leaf is back in place that we can hide behind & continue spreading all the lies found throughout this statement using Komen to say that the fact based claims by others aren't true.

Planned Parenthood is committed to 1 thing only, getting all the money it can through the killing of unborn babies, especially those of minorities to fullfill its eugenics mission of its founder Margaret Sanger. They are not committed to fighting breast cancer, except so far as the little they do provides a cover, same with Pap tests & any other so-called health care they claim to provide. & if, by chance, what they do should actually save a life they are not grateful because someone's life was saved, they are grateful because they have 1 more fig leaf they can hide behind to cover up the truth.
