The poster below is 1 of 14 huge posters put up in the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace in Wloclawek, Poland.

The exhibition was opened on Wednesday, 18 May 2011 by Bishop Wieslaw Mering. The display is courtesy of the Polish branch of the
Center for Bio-Ethical Reform. It has been traveling arround Poland. Naturally, it has drawn its share of controversy. & vandalism as well.
While
abortion isn't completely outlawed in Poland, it was changed in 1993 from the communist law allowing abortion on demand. Of course, there are those who are pushing for the law to be changed back. So, there is an urgent need for this information to get out there & be seen by the public.
& it serves to remind us here in the USA that we should be just as willing to get this info out. I really wish we didn't have to, but at this point there is no other option. This seems to be the only way we will wake many people up to the truth.
These campaigns strive not merely to shock but to wake people up to the truth about abortion. These pictures, along with ultrasounds are helping to educate people about abortion just like
Uncle Tom's Cabin played a role in galvanizing abolitionists in pre-civil war America. That book showed the evil & immorality of slavery just like these pictures show the evil & immorality of abortion.
* & a few in Canada as well. I refer to the
fact that the Alberta Bishops pulled out of the 2011 Canadian March for Life because they objected to the presence of graphic abortion images. Others like
Archbishop Terrence Prendergast of Ottawa were willing to allow the displays even if personally uncomfortable with them.
