ALL'S JUDIE BROWN ON EWTN'S 'THE WORLD OVER' FRIDAY REGARDING CATHOLICS AND OBAMACARE
American Life League president Judie Brown will appear on EWTN’s “The World Over” with Raymond Arroyo to discuss health care reform with Catholic Health Association president Sr. Carol Keehan on Friday, August 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Simply put, Catholics cannot support healthcare that includes killing,” Brown said. “The Obama plan includes a mandate for tax-subsidized abortion, euthanasia, contraception, rationed care and sex education. Where is social justice in that? Where is the mercy, love and compassion for the weakest in society?”
American Life League exposed the scandal when Catholic Health Association, Catholic Charities and the St. Vincent de Paul Society joined together to support “healthcare reform now.” Their campaign included action alerts to call Congress is support of healthcare legislation and a video
that featured President Obama rallying Congress.“These Catholic organizations are contending that they are simply supporting health “reform,” but that line is disingenuous at best when the only health reform on the table is Obama’s abortion and euthanasia mandate. These organizations are putting human lives at the mercy of misguided justice.
“Health care reform should reflect Christ's justice, not Obama's justice,” Brown said.
American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death. ADDED 15 Aug 2009, 3:07 AM: I saw the interview. Raymond did have her squirming several times. She did have answers for all of his questions, but some of them weren't too satisfactory as far as I am concerned. & I think Raymond & Judie Brown felt the same way. Some of her answers tried to justify her & the CHA less then stellar actions to do all it could to defend life. At times she almost seemed apologetic & justifying compromise where there shouldn't be any.

I also watched the show, and shook my head in dissbelief at some of what Sr. said.
I thought Judy Brown did an excellent job stating the true Catholic position.
Is there anywhere I can print off a transcript of the show?
I think Raymond would like to have said more, but had to bite his tongue so as not to "flame" a guest on his show.
Personally, I wouldn't have minded watching him do just that! (LOL)
