Update on Queen Nancy
It looks like Nancy Pelosi will meet with Papa Benedetto after his general audience on Wednesday. While I don't pretend to know the Pope's mind, I wouldn't be surprized if his talk was about the sanctity of life & why Catholics can't be pro-abortion.
I am also sure that what he tells her in the private meeting will be totally different than what her press release will say. I am sure that Papa Benedetto will lay things on line about what Obama has been doing as well as what she isn't doing. The press release will probably say: Pelosi & the Pope discussed the current situation in the USA. The Pope expressed some concerns about the problems Americans are facing these days. It will make no mention of the life issues that the Pope will definitely bring up.
I hope that Archbishop Burke is there. & that he is highly visible at the meeting. It will be impossible for the Vatican to totally stop the spin since the Main Stream Media is in Pelosi's camp. But I am hopeful that after the recent problems with other stories, it will do its best to minimize the damage.
Also, wouldn't it be funny if Archbishop Niederauer suddenly showed up at the Vatican Wednesday?
