Queen Nancy Hopes to Grant Pope an Audience During Her European Tour

Hopefully, the Pope will excommunicate her or at least give her a good lecture about being a Catholic in Name Only. & he should ask why she can get over there but doesn't have time to meet with her bishop, Archbishop Niederauer of San Francisco. IMHO, it may be time to revive the Spanish Inquisition. Or at least have someone from a certain famiglia organization make her an offer she can't refuse. OK, now that I have that out of the way. . . .
According to the Drudge Report, Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) said on Houston's KSEV radio that Pelosi hopes to pass the federal economic stimulus bill in time for her join the group. Il Tempo Pelosi will arrive in Rome Sunday afternoon It is her first visit to the city since becoming Speaker of the House. It has not been determined when Ms. Pelosi plans to meet the Pope.
Fr. Tom Euteneuer, president of Human Life International (HLI), told LifeSiteNews.com that HLI will be briefing the Vatican "so they are aware of her dismal record on life issues. "
"It is our hope that the Holy Father will not grant the floundering Speaker of the House what she surely wants and expects, a quick and valuable photo-op, but will rather give her a stern lecture on contraception and abortion and let her know that her eternal salvation is in danger," said Fr. Euteneuer. "Further, this would be the perfect opportunity to formally excommunicate the Speaker, as she has done everything a public official possibly can to declare her lack of communion with the Holy Father and the Roman Catholic Church on every conceivable issue."
Remeber, the Pope is a head of state, Vatican City is a country. & that means he will have to meet with her should she ask. But it will be because of her leadership role. As Speaker of the House she is next in line after VP Biden (another errant CINO) to become president should something happen to Obama. If there will be a meeting with the Pope, then I am willing to bet that Archbishop Burke will have a part in the briefing of Papa Benedetto. I suspect that he already has a pretty good idea about her already from previous conversations with Archbishop Burke. & unless he does what her Bishop has failed to do, excommunicate her, I suspect that any correction will be done in private. Unfortunately, if it is, then she & the rest of the CINO gang, as well as their fellow travellers in the media, will use it as another opportunity to politicize the Eucharist.
As Deal Hudson points out: "You can make sure that Pelosi will choreograph her visit to get maximum attention paid to her identity as a Catholic." Many Bishops are using the excuse that their denying Communion or excommunicating pro-abortion Catholics would politicize the sacrament better face the fact that these politicians already have politicized it & it is their failure to act that is allowing these pro-abort CINOs to do so.
He adds: "Pelosi, of course, should be denied communion, but it is very unlikely to happen. Any priest who celebrates Mass with Pelosi present will be carefully chosen beforehand in order to avoid embarrassment to the Speaker and her entourage." Too true, she knows that she can always find some dissident to abet her defience of Catholic teachings. But that doesn't excuse her Bishop's silence, since it is abetting her as well.
Deal Hudson in the same post on his blog, he has some excellent suggestions for how Papa Benedetto should handle this:

"Benedict XVI should use the opportunity of the visit to make a strong public statement about the attack on unborn life being waged by the new Congress and the new administration.
Pelosi's ordinary, Archbishop Niederhauer of San Francisco, should issue a public statement strongly critical of Pelosi as a Catholic politician. He should include a statement that if she presents herself for communion he will deny it to her."
He adds: "Fr. Euteneuer's wish that Pelosi be publicly and formally excommunicated, unfortunately, makes it more unlikely to happen, since bishops don't want to appear to do what they are told by the head of HLI or any other Catholic apostolate. But our good friend at HLI is right on the mark, as usual."

PS: Why am I seeing this as Pelosi's version of The Rainbow Tour from Evita?
(Note: The lyrics are wrong, Evita only got a Rosary. Maybe Nancy will get a heavy duty 1 that will hold up for the huge number she will have to say for her penance. He'll probably have to give her a guide on how to pray it as well.)
