Who Is Really Getting an Abortion in the USA

Accoding to an AP report, Who's getting abortions? Not who you'd think, it isn't a frightened teenager, nervously choosing to terminate an unexpected pregnancy like Planned Parenthood & the other merchants of death try & portray it as. In fact, teens make up only 17% of those getting an abortion (& the pregnancies most likely to be caused by rape, incest, etc, that PP loves to cover up also.)
According to the article: "Half of the roughly 1.2 million U.S. women who have abortions each year are 25 or older." & "A disproportionately high number are black or Hispanic." That later statistic is no surprize given the history of PP & its founder Margaret Sanger, a racist & eugenicist who was a public supporter of Hitler's racial policies until it became politically incorrect because people began seeing what she & he really were aiming at.
13% of American women are black. Yet they have 35% of the abortions according to Centers for Disease Control figures. & while spokespersons for PP deny it, it is a genocide.
Dr. Alveda King (who spoke at the West Coast March this weekend) makes it clear that the problem is encouraging young people to have sex. “We give free sex education, free condoms, free birth control. That’s almost like permission to have free sex, and the higher the rate of sexual activity, the higher the rate of unintended pregnancy.” She calls for the opposite message, to wait until after marriage.
Anti-abortion activist Day Gardner, President of the National Black Pro-Life Union, has this to say: “We don’t talk about it. It’s a silent killer among us.”
1 of the big arguements given in support of abortion is the myth of "economic hardship". There are many groups that offer women alternatives. 1 of those groups is Birthright International. Here in Iowa they recently opened a new location in Waterloo.
So what does Birthright do? According to their website the orginization "provides caring, non-judgmental support to girls and women who are distressed by an unplanned pregnancy. Using its own resources and those of the community, Birthright offers positive and loving alternatives. Birthright presents many services and refers for many more. We provide friendship and emotional support, free pregnancy testing, and maternity and baby clothes. We also give information and referrals to help clients meet legal, medical, financial, and housing needs. Birthright treats each woman as an individual who deserves kindness and respect, as well as personal attention to her unique situation. All Birthright services are free, absolutely confidential, and available to any woman regardless of age, race, creed, economic or marital status."
Despite the claims, abortion is never a necessity, not even for health reasons any more. Those children have the right to live. & for whatever reason, whether because of financial problems where the mother &/or father can't afford to have & keep the child, or plain old selfishness, because the mother doesn't want to be bothered, there IS someone out there who wants & can care for that child.
