America's Mayor

At about 2 pm CST this afternoon, America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, spoke at a rally for Mike Whalen at the DBQ Co. GOP HQ. Rudy gave a rousing speech reminding us why it is important to vote for the right people, people who will keep our defense strong & our taxes low. He talked about his experience as a federal prosecutor & what it took to get the arrests & convictions of criminals like the mobsters in the Lucchesi famiglia. He explained that they tools he used were proactive & that the best way for the USA to be safe is to use similar proactive tools.

While I may not agree with everything he stands for (unfortunately, he is pro-choice) I have great respect for the man. Here is someone who had to deal with 1 of the most horrible attacks on the United States in our 200+ yrs of existance. He was a man who fought the mob, he was a mayor who cleaned up New York, he was the strong leader who helped New York survive the worst.

It was a priviledge & an honor to meet & talk to a paisan of mine. He is truly an American hero.
