Guilty, Guilty, GUILTY!!!!!

I was on my lunch break at work when Fox News showed the video of Saddam Hussein being found guilty of crimes against humanity. After the appeals process he faces death by hanging. During the whole process all he showed was contempt for the court & what was going on. Today was no different. He refused to stand & hear the verdict so he was forced to stand. After, while clearly shaken he made it clear he would not accept the validity of the sentance.

The verdict came as no surprize. What will be interesting is to see the spin by both the left & the right, Republicans & Democrats. How it will play out in the News media & the effects on the election on Tuesday will also be interesting to see. The spin has already begun in Iraq, as well as, unfortunately, some violence.

Watching the sentencing, I had an interesting thought cross my mind, "This time a Hitler got what he deserved." I wish this is the last time the world would ever have to see the trial of a monster in human guise. I know it won't. Because man's nature is fallen, men & women will choose evil & do things as horrible or worse to others. & even now, in Iran & North Korea there are leaders waiting for their turn. Until Christ returns we will have to deal with evil rearing its ugly head. Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus!!!!! Meanwhile, Lord help me to proclaim your message of salvation so that Your Kingdom will come.
