Amazingly, Planned Parenthood Does Have Some Standards

At least that is what they are trying to claim.
When it comes to Planned Parenthood & money, PP has made it clear that they are out to make all the money they can while promoting an immoral lifestyle of anything goes. So you would think they would be willing to take a huge donation from the poster boy for the lifestyle they promote, wouldn't you?
Well, apparently not, at least if you happen to be Tucker Max.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Mr. Max, consider yourself lucky. The only reason I know who he is is because I saw 1 of his books in a book store 3 years ago. The book, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, was a special edition to promote a movie based on it. Up to then I can honestly say, I don't remember hearing about him.
Anyhow, I decided to scan the book. It wasn't long before I got a pretty good picture of the lifestyle he was promoting, & living. All I could add is that at least he was honest about where he would end up after death, sans beer of course.
So imagine my surprize when I read in Newsbusters a couple days ago that Planned Parenthood had turned down a potentially huge donation from him, somewhere between $250,000 to $500,000, to name a clinic after him.  Apparently PP feels that his body of work conflicts with the image of their mission they aretrying to promote. Conflicts???????????? As I said, he is the perfect poster boy for they life style they promote through their sex ed materials. There are no conflicts.
But that is exactly what 1 supporter, Jill Filipovic at Feministe, claims. She says that his lifestyle is incompatible with Planned Parenthood's values.  Pardon me while I laugh at how ridiculous that is.

 OK, I'm back.
She goes on to say that taking the money would be an unneccesary risk as PP's enemies could use it to destroy Planned Parenthood. Well, there is a little truth in that. Planned Parenthood has been reeling the last couple of years from all the revelations of criminal coverups etc, that have shown the ugly truth about PP. So it is thrue that us Pro-lifers could hold him up as an example of what their real values are. & there would be some political backlash. But, no where near that they already have experienced from the investigations by Live Action & others I have so often reported on. That is why I highly doubt his having a clinic bearing his name is going to cause Planned Parenthood to "cease to exist" by itself. Or even be the prime reason.
& since this happenned last August, it clearly wasn't in response to the recent Susan Koman fiasco either.
So there has to be another reason than that given by Planned Paretnhood & blindly parrotted by their supporters. While I can't prove it, this is what I suspect is really going down.
I suspect this is a carefully orchestrated Commedia dell'arte betwen Max's PR guy & Planned Parenthood's PR gang. PP gets to claim that they actually have some moral standards, probably stored next to their mammogram machines. & Max gets to come off as someone who is sorry for his past. He gets to redeem his image a bit by coming off as someone who really does respect women & what PP stands for when it comes to "women's health". As a bonus, he gets his tax deduction & even more redemption by the fact that he has donated that money to PETA. Given that PETA is more concerned about so-called animal rights that the real right to life that the unborn have, this all fits together perfectly.
Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood's propaganda arm, The Guttmacher Institute, shows us what values PP & their associates really have. The lesbian pornographic film company “Girlfriends Films” recently made a $1,000 donation to the Alan Guttmacher Institute. The reason, because of Guttmacher's “contribution to reproductive and sexual health.” According to Mark Kernes, senior editor & chief legal analyst for the Adult Video News, who made the donation on behalf of the Girlfriends Films, "there is one shining light consistently presenting the facts and statistics needed to counter the religio-conservatives: The Guttmacher Institute.”
He went on to add: “Girlfriends Films is to be congratulated for being willing to ‘step up to the plate’ and encourage and help other members of the adult community make this country a better place to live in with its charitable donations, Bravo!
Excuse me, but making pornographic films that demean women & turn them into sex objects* ISN'T EXACTLY MAKING THIS COUNTRY A BETTER PLACE!!!!! It is doing just the opposite. The same could be said about Planned Parenthood as well as Guttmacher. Their efforts are all a part of the demonic "culture of death" agenda aimed at bringing about death & destruction, physical & especially spiritual. & if Guttmacher is appearing as a "shining light" that is merely because they are in Satan's camp & following his lead. "There is nothing astonishing in this; even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light It is nothing extraordinary, then, when his servants disguise themselves as the servants of uprightness. They will come to the end appropriate to what they have done." (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
So, I repeat, I highly doubt that Planned Parenthood's claim that Max's image is incompatable with their mission is the truth. This is an attempt to burnish their image & divert attention from all the recent news showing the truth, from their covering up rape & incest, abetting white slavery, to their racketeering strong arm treatment of Koman. It may sell with their hardline supporters who will support them no matter what. Or should I say, out of desperation their supporters will help to try & sell it? Beyond that, I doubt if it will get any real mileage.
Nor should it.
