Main Stream Media Silence About Theodore Shulman Continues. . .

even though he was charged this week with 6 counts of communicating interstate threats against pro-lifers. For those of you who don't remember him check out my original story here. He was arrested in February 2011 & as I pointed out back then, the Main Stream Media's silence was absolute, except for 1 post on Huf-Po.

The absolute silence of the media after the initial arrest continues this week with the charges being filed. But the AP found time to do a story about how the Obama administration has filed charges against 6 people under the Clinton era Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE). Blocking an abortion clinic & getting arrested is newsworthy, threatening to kill pro-lifers isn't in their mindset.

But, as I have said before, this isn't surprizing. The media usually downplays or ignores any violence done against pro-lifers. The same is true about the horrible record of the abortion clinics when it comes to health & safety of the women. & never mind how the industry aids & abets incest & rape. That is not newsworthy because it shows the industry as it really is rather than the way the media & the industry want it to appear. If the truth got out they know the backlash against abortion would be huge. Just look at the reaction after the Live Action investigations that helped to push defunding of Planned Parenthood through the House of Representatives. & look at the spin used by PP (abetted by the media) to paint themselves as mainly a health provider that did a few abortions on the side.

But it plays up anything that will portray pro-lifers as the bad guys.

But as the recent House vote shows the tide is turning. Thanks to alternative media, including blogs, the truth is getting out there. People are starting to see the truth. The people who do violence in the name of pro-life are at the fringe of the movement. But those who do violence are at the heart of the pro-abortion movement.

As for Shulman, he may face further charges as he is still the object of an ongoing investigation involving his making serious death threats against Operation Rescue staff members.
