Live Action Releases Videos From 3 More Virginia Planned Parenthood Sites

& the results are exactly as would be expected. Planned Parenthood comes off as they really are, willing to cooperate with evil. The latest videos are from Roanoke, Falls Church, & Charlottesville. They were released Friday. This time arround they relesed the complete videos & no edited versions. As I mentioned in my post yesterday, Live Action has also relesed the full videos from the Perth Amboy, NJ & Richmond, VA PP sites.

Thursday, PP issued a statement about the Richmond tape that was its usual combination of spin, lies & half-truths. Naturally it starts out with an attack on Lila Rose. They call her "a self-described "extremist'1, who has called for abortions to take place in public2". Interestingly enough (or should I say foolishly enough) they encluded footnotes with links to their sources of these claims.

1st the bit about being an extremist. The out of context word is taken from a 2009 LA Times article. The article is quouting from a speech she gave at the 2009 Voters Value Summit. She said "When I walk into Planned Parenthoods across the country, I am flattered to see my picture on the wall. It is because to Planned Parenthood, I am -- quote -- a 'known anti-choice extremist.' This is one of the better compliments I have received." (emphasis mine). 1st of all it is PP that desribes her as an extremist, not Lila Rose. Yes, she sees it as a compliment because it shows how much of a threat they see her as being. But it sure her description of herself.

Then there is the bit about call for public abortions. To some extent it is true, but PP leaves out the whole statement as well as the reason why. The video they take that from is from the same speech as above that she gave at the 2009 Values Voter Summit.Yes she said that she would like to see them in the public square, not just public & in order for us to get so sick & tired of them that the injustice that is abortion would be done away with. Interestingly enough the clip was put up by a project of pro-abort People for the American Way as an attempt to discredit her. Instead they show themselves for what they are, unAmerican & hatefilled. She said nothing about women being forced. But how many other surgeries regularly are shown on TV? & "if abortion is simply health care, why not treat it the same way? is all she was saying.

The main body of the statement is the claim the employee did nothing wrong. But then it went on to say: "In the past, Live Action has heavily edited tapes to create the impression that Planned Parenthood staff are not acting professionally or following the law. Planned Parenthood’s first analysis is that this new tape from Virginia is edited, and we believe the members of the press should be able to view the raw, unedited footage of any tapes that have been made public."

This is pure spin. Live Action has released the entire tape. They turned over the raw footage along with a letter to VA AG Ken Cuccinelli asking him to investigate.
Then as I said, on Friday the next shoe dropped. This time 3 tapes from the above mentioned sites in Virginia. They also sent the footage to AG Cuccinelli.

Among the findings that come out are the following:

Roanoke – Birth control and STD testing for underage prostitutes is no problem
PP staffer: “From the age of 12 up, for birth control, you can just come in and do that. You don’t have to have a parent, OK?”
PP staffer discussing STD testing: “And the thing is, see this is the thing a lot of people don’t know that. . .Right, through the Health Department. And so, they’ll uh, they’ll track it. And they’re discreet. They’re confidential. They, you know, don’t tell people what’s going on, because – frankly – it’s nobody’s business.”

Falls Church – Abortions for underage girls from other countries only require a photo ID.
PP staffer: “We don’t necessarily look at the legal status, like I said. Abortion appointments do require photo ID. It’s nothing as far as records. It’s just photo ID that’s ever going to be required.”

Charlottesville – Birth control and testing for STDs and pregnancy for underage girls with no questions asked.
PP staffer: “Anybody here can help you. Everything here is confidential. We can’t give any information out.”

& again, that is only part of the story. As I said, PP doesn't come of looking good, just showing their real face, not the 1 they present to the public. Here are the 3 new tapes:

VA AG Cuccinelli told the Associated Press after his viewing of the videos that he found them “very disturbing” and said he would have more to say after watching them in their entirety. "My office has not yet received the complete and unedited video footage. However, what I have seen so far is very disturbing. After my staff and I review the full video and consult with our state and local regulatory and law enforcement partners, I likely will have more to say about this. For now, we are in fact-finding mode.”

It will be interesting to see how long it is before PP goes after him. They know he is Pro-life & isn't likely to dismiss the tapes. & that has got to have them running scared.

Planned Parenthood Health Systems, the affiliate that runs the Roanoke & Charlottesville sites issued a statement on Friday. They call what Live Action did a "hoax" because they "used a fake patient". Yup, just like many a sting have done before. But that is not the reason they use the term hoax. It is to lay the groundwork for what lies ahead in the statement "The employees on these edited tapes in Roanoke and Charlottesville acted professionally in their interactions with the fake patient."

They claim the tapes were edited. & & thus a hoax. But PP knows the truth. Live Action " never released edited tapes from these cities and ONLY released the full, unedited footage from these locations." (emphasis Live Action) As I pointed out, PPHS knows where the AG stands on the abortion issue. So they are attempting to undermine him in advance.

But what is especially egregious is their claim that the employees acted professionally. Lila Rose had this to say about that claim: “It is utterly disgusting that Planned Parenthood’s response to this is that their employee reacted ‘professionally.’” If, as PP wants people to take their meaning, by professional you mean the way any law abiding citizen should, then PPHS gets an big fat F-. But by PP's standards they just did what they normally do, don't worry about the law, just ensuring they will get more "customers" to help their bottom line.

& the rest of the statement is pure spin to make it sound like they are saints, which they ain't.

Again, I suspect there is more to come from Live Action since they have made it clear in a 3 Dec 2010 news release that they were launching several major investigations this year.
As I mentioned in my previous post, YouTube threatened to take down the original video. While they have since backed off, YouTube did receive a Letter from Live Action's Attorneys on Friday pointing out where the claims by YouTube of privacy violation were fallacious.

In New Jersey officials are looking into the abortion center Planned Parenthood referred to in its video. Metropolitan Medical Associates has not exactly had an exemplary past. In December of 2009 MMA which is based in Englewood, New Jersey, settled a $1.9 million lawsuit out of court. The suit was filed by a woman who was comatose for one month following a botched abortion she received there. & in both 2007 & 1993 state officials closed them down for health & safety violations. The 2007 closure came after an investigation into the above mentioned botched abortion. That was part of the reason for the closure since MMA failed to notify the state "of an event occurring within the facility that jeopardized the health and safety of a patient". Another reason given was the inspector finding "Two plastic open top bins of sterile forceps, speculum and gauze prep kits are stored directly on the carpeted floor next to the copier in the main office." As for what they found arround the operating tables, the state report said "There was a large dark orangish-yellow stained area, dirt, debris, and syringe caps found under the operating tables in operating rooms #1, 2, 3 and 4." Then there is this explanation by an employee of how things were handled in cleaning the ORs: "Employee #2 stated, ‘We do not usually move these tables. The housekeeper cleans around the O.R. tables a couple of times a week.’"

Other things found included forceps encrusted in "brownish blood-like residues" as well as rusty crochet hooks used in abortions. Yes, crochet hooks, 1 of the supposed methods used by all those horrible back alley abortionists before abortion was made safe & legal.

& Laura Ingraham continues to go after Planned Parenthood on her show as well as on O'Reilly Factor as guest host. You can see the Thursday video here. (Friday not up yet) What gets me is how so many PP supporters are willing to give them a pass. & not just here, everywhere. I've said it before, abortion is treated as a sacrament by these people & thus anything else doesn't matter.

Between this & the other recent scandals PP knows that they are in real danger of losing Federal funding. So it is no surprize that they have ran to the deep pocketted George Soros for help. The plan they came up with was multipronged. part of it is an attempt to discredit Live Action & Lila Rose. Media Matters for America (Soros founded & funded) Executive Vice President Ari Rabin-Havt announced his organization would continue attacking Live Action by “debunking the organization’s claims, and focusing on its methods”. What they are saying is that they see PP's going along with under aged sex trafficing as OK.

Cecile Richards asked pro-abort bloggers to spread the word that Planned Parenthood’s clients desperately need the health care provided to them by Pl anned Parenthood clinics. In other words, the usual sob story that PP uses to hide that abortion is the centerpiece of PP. She also told them to keep up the cry that Planned Parenthood provides the only health care they receive.

Meanwhile, we are also getting a good glimpse of the hypocricy of MoveOn.org. The attacked The Hill for the article demanding they look into Live Action's "history of lying, doctoring video and using illegal means to obtain information.” MoveOn spokeswoman Ilyse Hogue told The Hill “We weren’t thinking of it strictly as a defense of Planned Parenthood. Our members have definitely expressed a need for years and years for media to report the background and do some investigations.” They want an investigation into Live Action. What they are really trying to do is stop the investigation into PP by maliciously attacking Live Action for bringing the truth to light.

MoveOn is motivated by revenge as well. Live Action has received help from conservative media guru Andrew Breitbart in distributing as well as getting attention for the videos. Remember that Breitbart helped get out the videos by former Live Action member James O'Keefe known that revealed a similar willingness by ACORN to aid & abet under aged sex trafficing. ACORN has strong support from MoveOn.org

We are getting a real glimpse in to what the abortion industry views of women. It isn't health, it isn't safety, it is protected abortion at all costs.

Like I said, stayed tuned. More is yet to come. When it does, it won't be pretty & the "culture of death" gang will do all it can to protect themselves from having to take responsibility for their actions.
