Tuesday I was working on some posts for the next couple days. But due to the blizzard I haven't had a chance to get any blogging done until now. When i went out Tuesday afternoon things were still fairly nice. But by the time I headed home at 8:30 pm things were really licking up. While the 1st picture below was taken later than when I was out, it gives a good idea of the weather conditions. Although there were some white out conditions on Dodge at times, for the most part it wasn't too bad.
Wednesday was clean up day. Fortunately, I didn't have that much to shovel out, unlike a lot of others. The official count for the blizzard was 13 inches. & it sure seemed like it was a lot more in places due to the drifting. While I didn't have to shovel my car out, I did end up helping a friend with his car that afternoon.

With all our modern technology etc, this storm is just another reminder that we are not as in control as we like to think.
Finally, as the Bible says "All things work for good for those who love the Lord". In this case, the good was that the DBQ Planned Parenthood was shut down Wednesday so they were unable to do anything to spread the "culture of death". We don't know for sure, but someone who may have gone to schedule an abortion will now have had time to think & God will lead here to 1 of our Crisis Pregnancy Centers instead.
