Ted Turner - Denying Reality of China's 1 Child Policy, Even Though CNN Has Documented It
I say this based on his track record of unvarnished hatred for Christianity & his long standing promotion of abortion. Now, I have to make it clear that I am not saying he has sold his soul to the devil (or that he hasn't for that matter). All I am saying is he has bought into the agenda promoted by the "father of lies" aka Satan. & thus lying is a natural part of anyone's promotion of that agenda.
As for the "voluntary" aspect of the policy, does he really expect us to by that? Apparentkly so. But lets get real. If it is as voluntary as he claims then all we have is the current status quo. The only way the policy he proposes will work is through coersion or the ways that China operates to enforce it. But of course he won't admit that because he knows that the truth will doom his efforts from the start.
Global One-Child Policy Proposed by CNN Founder
Think that a government-enforced one-child policy could only happen in a dictatorship like China? Think again! Ted Turner, founder of CNN, recently proposed that governments world-wide (including the U.S.A.) enact "voluntary" one-child per couple policies immediately. Turner's panic over "global warming" is driving his proposal.
Turner claims that he doesn't favor criminalization of unplanned second pregnancies or forced abortions, followed by sterilizations, such as China practices. In fact, Turner denies that such things really happen in China, even though his own CNN has done programs on these barbaric practices.
However, Steven W. Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute and internationally recognized China expert calls Turner's denial "absurd" and explains that in his 30 years of studying China's forced population control, he has evidence of women arrested for the "crime" of being pregnant with an illegal child, who are then subjected to detention and are forced to abort, prior to sterilization.
A recent article in the Dallas Morning News pointed out that since the one-child family planning policy was adopted in China in 1979, it has had a dramatic and unintended effect on that Communist country. Today, China has a huge surplus of 32 million extra men, thanks to its cultural preference for boys, and a fertility rate of only 1.5 children per woman, which is below replacement rate. Thus, in 20 years, 30% of China's urban population will be elderly and it will face a demographic crisis which will dwarf America's baby boom social security problem.
