10 of the Pro-Life Leaders the Pro-Aborts Fear Most

I recently came across an article entitled Top Ten Enemies the Pro-Abortion Left Fears. Whenever a "Top-10" list comes out there is always room for debate as to who or what should or shouldn't be on it. & even the author admits that this is just a snapshot based on "those most likely found right now on the dart boards of groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL."

A very interesting fact he points out is the difference between how the pro-aborts paint the battle as being between evil men who are keeping women from their reproductive rights the women fighting for their rights & the reality. that reality is that it is women who are leading the battle, & to a large extent they always have. 6 of the 10 names on his list are women, 3 are men & the other name is actually a group of organizations.

I won't go into the entire list in this post. I'll let you follow the link to discover for yourself who is in the pro-aborts sights the most these days. I will say that none of the 10 names really surprized me. I am familar with all of them. I have met 1 of them (Jill Stanek) & hope to meet another this Spring (Abby Johnson).

But I will comment a bit on 1 of the people on the list, Dr. Alveda King. As the author points out, she "makes the Left ring their hands in anger. They know she gives legitimacy to groups and people they despise." I bring her up because he links to a HufPo piece that attacks her & shows the hypocritcal double standard of the left at its worst. the HufPo piece attacks her & claims she is wrong to use the King name to give what she does legitimacy. It accuses her of using MLK's legacy like a commodity Like the Kennedy family (to name 1 example) hasn't done exactly that. How many of the 2nd & 3rd generation Kennedy clan would have gotten elected without the name? But because Dr. King is Pro-life, the left hates that she is a real heir of the King legacy & is using it in a way they know Dr. King (who was a Republican) would have approved of. That HufPo piece says Dr. King lacks integrity. She has a whole lot more that the entire Kennedy clan combined.

As I pointed out, the Top Ten Enemies the Pro-Abortion Left Fears isn't so much an opinion of the author as a snapshot of who the pro-aborts see as the biggest threats these days. & while they aren't the only threats, they are some of the biggest powerhitters out there fighting to defend the unborn. & after her book unPLANNED comes out tommorrow, you can be sure that Abby Johnson will be seen as even more of a threat to the abortion industry than she is now.
