Technology is Wonderful. . . .
I say this because it seems like only 25 years ago I was selling Commodore VIC 20s with 2k RAM. When the 64 came out, WOW! I ran a section on a community BB with my VIC 20, a cassette tape drive for storing programs & a phone modem that plugged into the phone after you dialed the number. The BB was run by a 64 with 2 floppy disk drives.
OK, not quite the "stone knives and bear skins" that Spock attempted to make a "mnemonic memory circuit" with in The City on the Edge of Forever, but not as bad as the punch cards we had to use when I was in college either.

Technology can be a pain when it doesn't work properly, as you have noticed. Sorry to hear of your technological troubles. Hopefully technology will improve further and these types of hang-ups will be prevented in the future.
Great scene!

Patrick : OK I won't. :)
Teresa: Not so much mine as the students. As for the future, remember, Murphy was an optimist.
