Someone Sent This Church Sign to Fr. Z

Yes, this is a real Church sign from somewhere in Dallas, TX. Like Fr. Z, I had to chuckle at what it said. They are bragging that they have been arround since 1975. It shows a truth that every protestant church forgets, none of them, even those that claim to be Biblical, are able to trace their roots back to the Church Jesus started. They are all in existance because some group broke away from the Catholic Church or another protestant Church. Only the Catholic Church* can trace it roots back to the start.

So I decided to come up with my own response to it:

* That includes all the Eastern Catholic Churches as well as the equvalent Eastern Orthodox Churches that most of them have that hopefully will once again be in full union with us someday.
