Sweden to study belching cows

The Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning (yes it is a government agency) awarded the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala $590,000 to do so. About 20 cows will participate in the project.

According to the AP article: "Project leader Jan Bertilsson said that the cows involved in the study will have different diets and wear a collar device measuring the methane level in the air around them."

Yup, another bit about the whole Global Warming scare. Given that this is the same country that has the Nobel Peace Prize. & that it was given to Algore, I guess this should be no surprize.

I think the money would be better spent by not being spent & let the overtaxed Swedes have a reduction in what they pay so they can give the money to charitable orginizations who will help feed, cloth & house the poor.

Is global warming happenning, maybe. Is it being caused by us? Despite Algore's claims, we don't definitely know. IMHO he is using junk science. I've seen enough evidence that the Sun may play a part & other evidence that I will talk about some other time.

For now, all I have to add is suddenly I am hungry for a nice big juicy medium rare steak.
