A couple days ago in a post I compared a quote from JFK to a recent quote from Hillary Clinton. My conclusion was that what Hillary said was proof of how far downhill the Democratic Party had come from the days of JFK.
I ended the post by saying: "Do I hear the sound of JFK turning over in his grave?" Well folks, the answer is a resounding "YES!!!!!". My proof, what HRC said over the weekend during a campaign stop in Nashua, NH. In a speech reported in a NY Post article she compared her campaign as a woman to that of JFK's as a Catholic in 1960. She pretty much stated that she should be chosen to disprove statements that say a "woman will never get elected president".
Hilly, I have some news for you, a woman will get elected president, it just won't be you.
There are plenty of highly qualified women out there who would make a good president. For instance, Condoleezza Rice comes to mind.
As to why HRC is saying this, I think she is trying to invoke JFK because of the fact that her main opponent, Barak, has been compared to JFK & she can't stand the fact that that pushes her out of the spotlight. By the way, didn't "Slick Willy" say he had modeled his presidency on that of JFK. OK, the only way he suceeded in imitating JFK was in the extramarital affairs arena, but this tact has already been tried by a Clinton. & even though there are some positives with Obama, he is no JFK either, despite this.
My humble opinion is this latest not only proves that the Democratic Party is merely the party of "SELFISHNESS", it is now entering into the realm of "DELUSIONAL".
Dr. Freud, where are you?
