1st National Day of Prayer for All Abortion Providers to Repent of the Evil They Do!

Today is the day that the National Abortion Federation has chosen to celebrate as the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers. To me this shows how depraved the abortion industry is. Given that abortion is the murder of a defenseless child as well as being emotionally harmful to that child's parents, let alone often physically harmful, honoring abortionists in this way is on a par with declaring a National Day of Appreciation for Mob Hit Men. You don't honor murderers. As Christians we pray for them instead. We pray that God will convict them of their sins & lead them out of the evil they do. 1 of the ways that we can do this I suggested in another post.

As Fr. Thomas Euteneuer says, prayer does have an effect & he has pointed to Dr. Bernard Nathanson's conversion as a prime example. So, I have decided to institute a new event in response to the National Abortion Federation's event, that is to make this same day a National Day of Prayer for Abortion Providers to be lead to repentance for what they do. I call on everyone to pray in a special way on this day for those people who work in the Abortion Clinic nearest to you.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit to Change the Heart of Abortion Providers

Come Holy Spirit

Source of ALL Light & Life,

Enlighten the souls of those who

are involved in providing abortions.

Bring to light the truth about what they do.

Show them that what they call good is evil.

Enlighten their eyes to see the truth about abortion.
Show to them the truth that their actions
cause only harm, not good, to all involved.

Enlighten their minds that are now in darkness

with Your Divine Light,

So that they will no longer desire to

participate in the evil that they do.

With the Light of Truth change their hearts,

So that they will no longer love the evil they do.

Convict them of their sins

& lead them to repentance.

Draw them to Jesus so that

they can know that they are forgiven.

Show them the love of the Father

who calls each of them by name.

Break the shackles that hold

them in bondage to evil & sin.

Draw them out of their life of sin

so that the can come to that

abundant life that Jesus promised instead.

We know that it is the Father's will that no one

will perish,

So we know that we are in the Father's will

when we ask that You lead them to the New Life

in Jesus that He desires them to have.

We join in with & ask the prayers of

all the saints & angels.

We especially ask the intercession of

the Theotokis, Mary,

Her beloved spouse & model for all fathers,

St. Joseph,

the intercession of St. Gerard,

patron of expectant mothers,

& Holy Archangel Michael,

Prince of the Heavenly Host,

who has been given the authority

to lead the Heavenly Hosts

to victory in the battle against evil.

Holy Spirit,

We thank You now for what You are going to do,

for the victory that You are going to bring

in this battle against the evil of abortion.

& we ask this be done all for the honor & glory

of the Father as we ask this in that Name

that is above all names,

the Name of Jesus.

I might suggest that in addition to the particular clinic that we also pray for the person who has been awarded the 3rd Annual Abortionist of the Year Award by Jill Stanek. She calls this award the Malachi Award in memory of baby Malachi, the "little baby boy was found frozen in a jar with three other little children at an abortion mill in Dallas, Texas, in February 1993." She gives this award as a way to commemorate what she calls " this unholiest of unholy days". "This award is unique in that it comes in pieces conveniently packaged in a red biohazard bag."

As you may have guessed by now, this is not an award of honor, but an award of shame. She gives this award to the abortionist that best exemplifies the truth of the evil that is abortion. She did run into a small problem this year due to a major requirement of eligibility for the award, that the winners have "valid medical licenses and not be convicted felons". She shows how a large number of those who would otherwise have been in contention were as a result of 1 of the above reasons rendered inelligible. (Thank God!)

Unfortunately, there were still people who did meet the requirements & thus eligible. So, to whom did this dishonor fall on this year? & the winner is. . . .

The "2007 Abortionist of the Year is Wichita, Kansas' own late-term abortionist extraordinaire, George "the Killer" Tiller!"

What shameful things did he do to win? "Although it is illegal in Kansas to commit abortions after 22 weeks unless a mother's life is endangered or she will suffer substantial and irreversible harm to a major bodily function, our man Tiller devised a way to report the aforementioned without the aforementioned being true!

Incredibly, Tiller also devised a way to state on mandated reports that post-viability babies he aborts are not viable!

Tiller reports his secret is to spread abortion blood money so thickly among politicians that there is allegedly nary a one with prosecutorial influence he has not bought off!"

I join in with Jill Stanek as she says: "What a genius! Congratulations, Tiller; you are an inspiration to all abortionists!"

Let us pray for the conversion of "Killer" Tiller & all other abortion providers so that, hopefully, next year we won't have to have a 2nd Day of Prayer.

& for those of you who still believe that all abortionists are only concerned about seeing that women receive safe abortions check out The Blackmun Wall. This wall is a list of "the women killed by legal abortions, along with information regarding the circumstances of their death." Life Dynamics named this wall after Harry Blackmun who "was the U.S. Supreme Court justice who wrote the Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion and launched America's Holocaust." It lists on 29 panels 347 of the many women who died as a result of a botched abortion. "To get the details of each woman's abortion-related death, just click on her name." As they say, this list is only "the tip of the iceberg." They are unable to find further details of most abortion caused deaths to enable them to include them on the list. And their " research clearly indicates that, for a variety of reasons, the overwhelming majority of abortion-related deaths remain undiscovered. "
