2008 Dream Team for President, VP

1 of the blogs I like to check out, American Papist, occasionally publishes a photo of Papa Benedetto with a humorous caption. Or as he calls it PPOTD (Papist Picture of the Day). Then some of the readers post their own ideas. 1 of the best for coming up with funny captions is Fr. John Trigilio Jr. Yes, the Fr. Trgilio of EWTN fame! I saw this picture on American Papist's blog for an entry about the Pope's visit & it inspired me to try 1 on my blog. Here goes:

Delegates to the 2008 American Papist Party Convention in Rome cheer as their nominees for President, Pope Benedict XVI, & Vice-President, Patriarch Bartholomew I, take the platform to make their acceptance speeches.

(OK, I know that the Constitution forbides people who weren't born as American citizens from running for president. This is a fantasy slate of candidates, not reality. As for those of you who are going to say the same about canon law, remember, the Pope can change it or grant exemptions. Again, this is just a fantasy. I won't even go into the seperation of church & state myth other than to say that the Constitution forbides any religious test either way.)
