A Little Aid to Help You Do the Math on Abortion's Death Toll

Yesterday, I put up a post that looked at how to better understand the numbers involving deaths by abortion. I compared the populations of towns, cities, counties, states, etc., in order to help people better understand  the real effect the deaths of all those preborn babies via abortion was having on America.

Besides showing how those abortions over various time periods is the equivalent of wiping out the entire population of those locations I was familiar with, I intended to include a chart with the numbers of abortions done over those time periods so others could see how it would affect them. I didn't have the time to, so here it is now. (See yesterday's post for how I arrived at this numbers)

 

15 minutes - 42 abortions

1/2 hour - 84

1 hour - 167

1/2 day - 2000

1 day - 4000

1 week - 28,000

1 month (4 weeks) - 112,000

3 months (13 weeks) - 345,000

1/2 year - 690,000

1 year - 1.38 million

40 years (22 Jan 1973-2013) - 55 million (or more)

 

Remember that these numbers don't perfectly match up due to rounding. But they are accurate with in a small margin either way.

But even with them being slightly off one way or the other, they still are more than accurate enough for us to grasp the horror of the situation & spur us on to greater prayer & action.
