Dick Clark, The World's Oldest Teenager - RIP

For me, 1 of the constants growing up was watching American Bandstand Saturdays on KCRG-TV 9. Regardless what some of those people out there today may think, none of them even come close to the class that Dick Clark had or the effect on music that he had.

Bandstand was the start, but it was only 1 part of the huge entertainment legacy he left us. Through his Dick Clark Productions hebrought movies, game & music shows, beauty contests & much more to TV. Among his credits: "The $25,000 Pyramid," ''TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes" (with Ed McMahon) & the American Music Awards.

He passed away this morning at age 82 of a heart attack.
