Obama Administration Wages Another Attack on the 1st Amendment
This was posted @ Jill Stanek's blog on 17 February, the day I had my knee surgery. That is why I am just posting about it now even though the story is 3 weeks old. It is a prime example of the Obama administration's attack on the 1st Amendment. & not just free expression of religion, but free speech as well. I couldn't pass it by as it shows where we are heading under Obama if he stays in power.
This should come as NO surprize to anyone who knows the anti-1st Amendment views of the Obama administration. Obama forbid that someone should exercise their right to free expression of their religion by praying in front of the White House. Yes I say "Obama forbid" since he sees himself as the Messiah. Forgive the sarcasm, but I am willing to bet that if it were a Muslim group praying, Obama would be right out there with them.
But since they are Christians & Pro-life then in the Obama administration's eyes they have no rights. Again & again Obama has attacked our God given rights. How long before the arrests begin in earnest to put us away in concentration camps???? Don't think it can't happen. Remember the law Obama signed in December that allows him to arrest & indefinitely detain anyone he defines as a domestic terrorist. The Obama administration has declared Pro-lifers to be domestic terrorists. You do the math. The 1 thing I am fairly sure of is it won't happen until after the election & then only if he gets reelected to office.
In the meantime, we must continue to speak out, including civil disobedience in some situations.

Yesterday six pro-lifers were arrested while praying in front of the White House to protest the Obama administration’s contraceptive mandate.
Those taken into custody were Father Denis Wilde, associate director of Priests for Life, Reverend Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, Jeff White, executive director of Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, White’s daughters Joanna and Jayne, and pro-lifer John Randy Corish, according to LifeSiteNews.com.
The pro-lifers were later released after each paid a $100 fine.
The interfaith group of Christians was standing in witness against Obama’s violation of the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of religion. Stated Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of PFL, in a press release:
The Obama Administration has attacked ideals, principles, and protections for which Americans have fought and died for. Therefore, the reaction is not only in the press, in the courts, and in the Congress. It is, should be, and will be in the streets. Civil disobedience must be a part of the response.
As I wrote previously, Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church has also vowed to go to jail rather than accept the mandate.
During Sean Hannity’s February 10 show, all but one in a group of national religious leaders that included Fr. Pavone, Rabbi Brad Hirschfield of the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, Fr. Jonathan Morris, a Fox News contributor, Reverend Jesse Peterson of BOND, and Dr. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention, vowed civil disobedience if the contraception mandate goes into effect.
Dr. Land added, “But if they want to read my letter from the Nashville jail, I’m ready to follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther King, Jr., and write such a letter. I will not comply.” Hannity chimed in, “I’ll go to jail with you.”
Pro-lifers at the White House were told they needed to keep moving, although I myself have several times observed protesters parked in chairs and tents for hours on end on the north side of the White House.
In the end the pro-lifers were arrested for stopping to pray.
“Occupy Wall Street protesters have been occupying federal property for months, but when we kneel in prayer, the police are called in and we are arrested,” Father Wilde said. “We knew that was the risk when we gathered today, and we will do it again regardless of the risk. What people of faith – of every faith - need to do now is stand with us.”

OBAMA A BLACK-SLAVERY AVENGER?
Are you aware that Barack Hussein Obama can be found in the Bible?
Proverbs 19:10 (NIV): "It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury - how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!"
Also Proverbs 30:22 (NIV) which says that the earth cannot bear up under "a servant who becomes king."
And Ecclesiastes 5:2-3 (KJV) advises: "let thy words be few...a fool's voice is known by multitude of words."
Although Obama is not descended from slaves, he may feel that he's destined to become a black-slavery avenger.
Or maybe an enslaver of all free citizens!

PS - Since Christians are commanded to ask God to send severe judgment on persons who commit and support the worst forms of evil (see I Cor. 5 and note "taken away"), Christians everywhere should constantly pray that the Lord will soon "take away" or at least overthrow all US leaders who continue to sear their conscience and arrogantly trample the God-given rights of the majority including the rights of the unborn. Do we need a second American Revolution?
