I Can't Think of Any One More Qualified.

Yesterday DBQ Co. Right to Life announced that that Governor Terry Branstad has nominated Colleen Pasnik for appointment to the Iowa Board of Medicine as a Public Member.
If you remember, the Iowa Board of Medicine is the administrative body that was approached & lobbied by pro-life organizations about the dangers of telemed abortions. Regretably, the Board took no action & telemed abortions has continued to place women’s health at risk.
Colleen is the former, administrative assistant for DCRTL. She is very well informed on the issues & will provide a strong balancing voice to those who are on the Board & in Planned Parenthood's corner. She could very well open the door for the issue of telemed abortions to be revisited.
Colleen will need to be confirmed by the Iowa State Senate. The Senate currently is in Democratic hands & the current majority leader,  Michael E. Gronstal, is strongly pro-abort. So, please be in prayer that Colleen’s name will not be pulled, but be approved along with all of Governor Branstad’s appointments.  If confirmed, her term will begin May 1, 2012.
Congratulations Colleen!!!
