Over the past few days I have been following & sharing about the Baby Joseph story up in Ontario. & the more I see, the less I am liking Canada's health care system which seems hell bent on murder.
Yes, I am angry. Just when it looks like the parents have a chance to give their son the opportunity to get proper treatment at a hospital in Michigan, the hospital that wants to remove the hospital where he currently is is acting like a spoiled brat & trying to take away the parents rights so they can go ahead with killing him as they want.
& it is clear that they are trying to hide something as well, the truth about Baby Joseph's condition. They will not allow the parents to see the child without a security guard present. They have banned Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, who is trying to help the parents transfer the child, from seeing Baby Joseph. additionally they have threatened to ban the parents if they try to take videos.
Now why would they want to do that unless they had something to hide? That is the only reason I can come up with for preventing the family from documenting Joseph’s responses & movements. Those videos would likely prove the parents claims Joseph is fully responsive to touch. & in particular that he hates being touched by cold hands, tickles easily, a& moves his head when his hair is brushed. The family also says he responds to loud noises by turning his head toward the sound. If they could document that then it would raise questions about the claims that the baby is in a “persistent vegetative state”.
As I said, I am angry about the situation. Victoria Hospital in London is acting in a way that can only be described as cruel. Sick & sadistic are other words that I would use to describe the hospital's treatment of the parents & their wishes for what is best for their son.
For now, Baby Joseph is still on life support. But the hospital has petitioned the Office of the Public Guardian to allow them to take him off life support. Please pray that the parents rights are preserved & that they can allow Baby Jospeh the right to die with his loving family caring for him rather than being suffocated as the hospital wants to.
