I Suspect They Didn't Realize How Pro-Life This Ad Was

As David Schmidt points out in a post at Live Action Blog: Dove Super Bowl Ad Knows When Human Life Begins. For tose of you who didn't see it, he is refering to the following Super Bowl Ad from Dove promoting its new line of men's products:

Gee, Dove undertands the scientific fact that life begins at the point when the sperm & egg are joined. Actually, I don't think that they were trying to come up with an ad containing a pro-life message, but they did. I find this all the more interesting in that at 1 time Unilever, the parent company of Dove, was on the Life Decisions International list of companies that donated to Planned Parenthood.

Yes, that does seem to be a pro-life ad. Though, I DO NOT use "Dove" soap... just whatever is available. Seems that Dove is now having a "metrosexual" campaign to promote their products.

In Canada, Superbowl on TV is a big thing, but we do not get to see the US ads. Crappy Canadian commercials come on instead.
