This Was Then, That Is Now

While this is something of a Yahoo promo, it does give us a good summary of how much things have changed. Having been there at the start with my Commodore Vic 20 & phone modem, the openning sounds were definitely a flashback. Yes I was there in the beginning. You young whippersnappers wanna make something of it?
There is also a neat bit at -28 on the video, a sonogram. I wonder if Yahoo realizes it is promoting the Pro-Life message by doing so?

    My brother had a Vic 20. Ahhh the memories. I can remember using e-mail in the early 1980s on the university's VAX 11-780 computer system. FORTRAN, COBOL, APL, BASIC... those were the days.
