Philosophical Question of the Day - 1 June 2009

Reflecting on a post I put up yesterday about Archbishop Neinstedt & the Rainbow Sash Gang raised a question in my mind.
Why aren't any of those same Bishops who refuse to enforce Canon 915 saying that it would politicize the Eucharist criticizing the Rainbow Sash Alliance USA for doing that very thing?
(Purely rhetorical, I think most of us know the reason.)

I know your question was rhetorical, but allow me to provide my answer.

Because it is always easier to abuse those that will accept your authority than to stand up to those who don't. This is the finest example of cowardice.

I say again, Jesus does love the sinner and yes he spoke to tax men, loose women, and so on, but he also preached against their practices.

These rainbow morons want not only to be accepted but do not want their lifestyle preached against. That is the difference.
