If I Had My Druthers, They Would Close Yesterday

Last year the unthinkable occurred. Planned Parenthood announced the opening of an office in DBQ. At the time they revealed their location they said it was perfect for the clientele they were aiming at. For once they were telling the truth partially. The area does have a lot of lower income & minority residents. The part omitted was why they were aiming at that group. They were, as I have pointed out before, aiming to eliminate them in fullfillment of founder Margaret Sanger's racist & eugenic goals. & all this is being done under the guise of "health care".

Another claim they made was that the DBQ location wouldn't offer abortions. But what they have done is openned a pipeline so that they could refer women elsewhere in order for PP to make more money for PP.

Now it has come out that PP of DBQ is looking for a different location when their lease is up in 2 years. The question that comes up is this: "If the location the are currently at was ideal, why move?" The answer they won't admit is simplse, so they can start offering abortions in DBQ. This is in keeping with the National PP philosophy & business model. PP has been moving to fewer sites, but more that offer abortions. & they know DBQ is a prime site for that. There are 4 colleges in town. &, sad as it is to say given 2 are Catholic, a perfect source of customers for them.

The original site was merely their attempt to get a foothold in DBQ & to later expand into the schools by providing educational resources (read pro-PP propeganda), & abortions as well. With remote chemical abortions already being offered elsewhere in Iowa (Sioux City) it is very possible what is next on their agenda. As I have already pointed out that is the trend. It enables them to be less directly involved & to also be less visible when they do. In fact even now, since they offer "emergency contraception" they are offering a form of chemical abortion.

So, why do I bring all this up. Because of a new campaign started by DBQ Co Right to Life (DCRTL). They have announced a year long advertising campaign to get the truth out about Planned Parenthood. & that takes money. Unlike PP, we don't have the media on our side. & we don't always have the money to hire those slick PR people to put out the slick ads that spread their lies. & we don't have the government (local, state & federal) in our corner either.

DCRTLs aim is to get the following facts out there:

1. PP is a pipeline for abortion
2. PP is the world's #1 baby killer
3. PP promote laws for abortion on demand
4. PP reives $349 million annually from you, the taxpayer
5. PP performed over 305,000 abortions in the U.S. last year
6. PP fights against your parental right to know

As I said, this takes money. While I see this blog as mainly a tool to educate, I have no qualms in putting out some blatent pleas for my readers to give to Pro-life causes. Esp 1 that I have been personally involved in.

It is time to stop the PP pipeline in DBQ. & I will again remind you that prayer is the 1st line of offense in our battle. But, we must also be willing to act. & part of that action includes our giving where & when we can.
