A Fact Planned Parenthood Fears: The Truth Is Out There

Abortion is sold on lies:
- “It’s a choice.”
- “It really isn’t a person.”
- “It’s only been six weeks; nothing’s there yet.”
- “It’s a fetus, not a child.”
A funny thing happens once you start to lie — it’s hard to keep your story straight!
The 40 Days for Life team in Abilene, Texas found that out right as the campaign began. The local newspaper interviewed Paula, the campaign director. She told the reporter that the Planned Parenthood center in Abilene did “medical abortions” (usually that means the RU-486pill) as advertised on their web site.
A defensive spokeswoman for the clinic then told the reporter that no abortions were done in Abilene.
But either way, Planned Parenthood trapped itself. Either the web site is wrong or the spokeswoman is wrong.
The good news, though, is that thanks to the questioning of the local 40 Days for Life team, the newspaper did a follow-up story and discovered that the Abilene facility is indeed licensed to do abortions!
Now one entire community is wondering if Planned Parenthood can be trusted.

________________
Regular readers of this blog won't be surprized that PP got caught in a lie. That is a part of their stock in trade. Lies about abortion, about statuatory rape, incest, etc is 1 of their biggest legacies.
Abilene PP has an interesting set up. They have 2 sites, Abilene Perini Center & Abilene Perini Center - Abortion Services, both at the same address, both with the same phone numbers., both with the same hours. The Perini Center site says: "This health center doesn’t provide abortion services". & the abortion services site says it is run by a seperate group Planned Parenthood of West Texas Abortion Services. This raises some very interesting questions about the set up.
Why a seperate listing & operator?
The story (Abilene's Planned Parenthood receives state license for abortions) is full of PP's spin, backpeddling & more lies to cover up the initial lie. Instead of we don't do abortions it is we don't do surgical abortions, NOW. & also chemical abortions. Yet in the 1st story (Abortions not offered at Abilene clinic, spokeswoman says) they denied even the chemical abortions.
Naturally, the paper shows its bias against PP despite being forced to show PP caught in a lie. The final line of the follow-up article: "No incidents were reported Wednesday during the first day of the vigil outside the Abilene clinic at 3449 N. 10th St." Get the implication, the Pro-Lifers are dangerous & are expected to cause trouble.
I just shake my head at how sad it is to see PP & those at the paper putting their souls at risk for an eternity in Hell. A definite if they don't repent. But with 40 Days there, I expect that somewhere along the way at least some of them will experience a change of heart & leave the "culture of death" before it is too late.
