40 Days for Life Goes Global

Just a reminder that the Spring 2009 40 Days for Life will start next Wednesday 25 February 2009. & this time, the effects won't be limited to North America. Communities in Australia and Northern Ireland will join in the more than 130 communities in the United States & Canada that are hosting 40 Days for Life events.

Brisbane in Queensland, Australia & Belfast & Derry in Northern Ireland will join those praying at sites in 4 Provinces in Canada (up from 2 last time) & 43 States in the USA.

The 3 previous national (& now international) campaigns have saved at least 1,128 children from abortion. Clinics have closed, lives have been changed. The "culture of death" may have thought it won a decisive blow in its favor last Fall with the election of Obama. What it actually served to do is to provide a wake up call for us to not only refuse to surrender, but to continue our work to build the "Culture of Life".

What we have seen so far, is only an inkling of what lies ahead. I suspect that we will see many many victories come out of the campaign ahead.
