No Conflict of Interest Here - Yeah Right!

Planned Parenthood of Indiana is claiming that it is setting up "staff retraining". Sounds good, except for 2 things. 1st of all, this is Planned Parenthood which isn't exactly known for their honesty. 2nd, who they hired to do the retraining isn't exactly a disinterested 3rd party.

The group PPIN hired is Prevent Child Abuse Indiana. The problem, PCAI lead "prevention specialist," Carol Pool, worked for Planned Parenthood of Indiana for thirteen years as an "educator" who gave sex education workshops. Not exactly someone who is impartial & unbiased?

Lila Rose, who's investigation brought this to light in the 1st place had this to say about PPIN's choice: "For Planned Parenthood to enlist the help of its friends and former employees at PCAI in the name of reform is like a predator saying he will babysit his victim."

So if it isn't a serious effort at reform, what is it? Simple, PPIN's promise of "staff re-training" is merely a public relations ploy. As Lila Rose reminds us: "All employees in the videos expressed knowledge of their legal obligation to report the rape. This is not a matter of knowing the laws. When Planned Parenthood doesn't like a law, they break it."

Lila Rose has also issued an Open Letter to Planned Parenthood of Indiana. In it she challenges them to release 2 pieces of info: "First, release the number of reports of suspected abuse of children under the age of fourteen that Planned Parenthood of Indiana has made to Child Protective Services. Second, release the number of minors under age fourteen to whom Planned Parenthood of Indiana has provided STD testing, abortion services, pregnancy testing, and birth control. These statistics will enable both concerned citizens and law enforcement officials to assess the true extent of institutional tolerance in Planned Parenthood of Indiana for adult-child sexual relationships."

She challenges them to transparency. Something I suspect they aren't going to be willing to do because of all the skeletons that will come out as well. Instead they will continue to use PR ploys to make it look like they are doing something when they are operating under business as usual. & that includes covering up rape & incest.

With more & more info coming out across the US about how PP covers up criminal activity, a time may be fast approaching when something may actually have to be done by state authorities. Until then, how many more young girls will continue to suffer because PP doesn't care about them, just profits?
