My 2nd Endorsement for the Nov 2008 Election

Today I am endorsing the amendment to the Colorado State Constitution that will "see that the Colorado state constitution is amended to include pre-born from the moment of fertilization as having their "personhood" clearly established, so that they may enjoy equal protection under the law."
It is clear that the authors of this amendment recognize the fact that conception has been redefined by those in the "culture of death" to no longer mean what it should. So, they make it clear that life begins at fertilization. This prevents the loophole that would allow for things like the morning after pill.
Like the referendum in South Dakota, this amendment is guarenteed to spur a court challenge that will end up in the Supreme Court. Besides supporting the amendment we need to keep do all we can to get people elected who will appoint people to the Supreme Court & lower courts who will uphold this & other Pro-Life laws. Ultimately, even though, as I said before, the Constitution does protect the unborn, we need a similar amendment to the Federal Constitution as well.
But, as I said before, we need to take evry step we can in the right direction. This is 1 of those steps.
The drive to pass Amendment Question #48 is being spearheaded by Colorado for Equal Rights.
