What Really Happened When Washington Crossed The Delaware!

Everyone who knows a little about the American Revolution knows that on Christmas of 1776 Washinton lead a small army of 2,400 men across the Delaware River at McKonkey's Ferry, Pennsylvania on their way to attack a Hessian Garrison of about 900 in Trenton, New Jersey. They left at 3 pm on Christmas & landed at 3 am on the 26th. & while we are familiar with the results most people are unaware of the whole story. Almost no one knows what words of inspiration General Washington said to the troops on that historic night. But, thanks to Lou Monte we finally know the answer to the question What Did Washington Say (When He Crossed the Delaware):

Bet you did nae know that George Washington spoke Italiano, did you?
Anyhow, in this case for General Washington it really was a BUON NATALE!!
