NY Times - Unanswered question

A thought crossed my mind about the latest NY Times mess (New York Times Caught in Abortion-Promoting Whopper - Infanticide Portrayed as Abortion, Truth, Justice, Abortion and the Times Magazine). What is the connection between the unnamed El Salvador magistrate & Ipas?

Another interesting thing to note. To read Calame's article Ipas is merely an abortion advocacy group. Michelle Malkin points out the truth, they have a vested interest because of the fact they sell equipment used in performing abortions.
