Random Questions about some people's HYPOCRISY

Why is it. . .

1. Pro-choice hypocrisy

That it that the same people who are screaming that any law that calls for parental permission for an underaged girl to get an abortion is wrong & infringes on her right to chose abortion were strangely silent last week when a court ordered 16 yr old Abraham Cherrix to undergo chemotherapy instead of allowing him his choice to undergo alternate treatment?

Or

That the same people who say a parent should have no control over their daughter's choice of an abortion were silent when the judge held Cherrix's parents medically negligent for not forcing their son to undergo chemo?

That the parents have no control over an underage child's major medical decision when it comes to abortion but they can stop her from getting her ears pierced or a tattoo?

2. Killing Civilians & Children in Israel & Lebanon

That the same people who are screaming about every civilian that gets killed by an Israeli bomb are silent about the Israeli civilians that are being killed by Hezbollah?

That these same people ignore the fact that Hezbollah intentionally hides behind civilians & then are angry at Israelis killing them while ignoring the fact that Hezbollah intentionally put them in danger in the 1st place ignore the fact that Hezbollah is intentionally trying to kill Isreali civilians (which Israel tries to keep from harm), that Israel did what it could to protect Lebanese civilians by dropping warning leaflets, that Hamas & Hezbollah as well as the leadership of Syria & Iran have the goal of exterminating Israel & the Jews?

That these same people who crticize anything Israel does to protect itself do not criticize Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's ongoing call to see that Israel is (& I quote) "wiped out from the map." or Hezbollah's leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah's call to all Muslims to wipe out Israe4l or Hamas's charter which calls for the wiping out of every Jew (civilian or soldier, young or old)?

3. Hollywood's Hypocrisy when it comes to religion

That the same people in who were screaming about the horrible anti-semitic statements by Mel Gibson see it as OK for Hollywood to slander the Catholic Church in so many ways that I won't even bother to list them here? (Mel Gibson's statements were wrong. I am disgusted by them. At least he apologized sincerely. Has anyone apologized for any of the various attacks by Hollywood on the Catholic Church/Christianity in general?)

4. Anti-Muslim v Anti-Christian

That it was wrong to publish those infamous Muslim cartoons in Denmark, but any cartoons against Christians, Madonna's blasphemious mock-crucfixion, etc are merely freedom of speech?

I could go on & on about the double standard that many so-called liberals who by their very words & actions show how they are really illiberal hypocrites. Conservatives are not perfect either, but they rise no where near to the level of hypocrisy that most liberals seem to approach.

Abortion is wrong. Parents should have control over their minor children's decisions. At least Cherrix's parents had a part in his decision. Anti-semitism is wrong, so is anti-Catholocism. No innocent civilian should be harmed in a war, but sometimes, the sad fact is, it is unavoidable. But, to use civilians as a shield, like Hamas does, is beyond dispicable. It is obcene.
