Linda Gibbons - Finally Free & Still Speaking Out
I have shared many times about Linda Gibbons & how she has been arrested again & again for violating a "temporary" restraining order that has been anything but temporary. According to the "temporary" order issued in 1994 she was not supposed to go near the Scott Clinic. As a result, she was supposed has spent a total of 10 out of the last 17 years in prison. Her latest stint was for 28 months. She has also been in & out of court & 1 of her appeals is waiting to be heard by the Canadian Supreme Court. Well she has been set free. In early June she was released from the Ontario prison she was in. However, the ordeal isn't completely over as she must be back in court on 16 January 2012. & at the end of July she plans another challenge to the injunction. IMHO she will go down as 1 of the heroes of the Pro-Life Movement. She is a shining example of the proper exercise of civil disobedience.

I can tell you that Canadian MSM never covers her story. In fact, nothing really about abortion at all. Things are changing with the new Sun News Network. In fact, SNNs Brian Lilley recently spoke at a pro-life conference in Toronto.
