Jesus Did Tell Us He Was the Vine. . .

But the vine he was referencing to was a grape vine. But that doesn't mean other vines can be used to get the message across. & it seems that lately the infamous kudzu is doing its part to help get the message across. Recently in Kinston NC someone noticed that a kudzu vine growing on a phone pole reminded him of Jesus on the cross:

But this isn't the 1st time the weed has grown in a way that it looked like Jesus. In 2009 Raleigh NC had its own Kudzu Jesus. In this case he was watching over & blessing the CSX trains as they passed through town:

Does this mean Jesus is a rail fan like me???? OK, I will admit that it is an interesting coincidence more than anything else. But given how Jesus is ignored most of the time & that He did tell us if we were silent, the rocks would cry out, so why not kudzu? & yes, I do know what a problem weed kudzu is. But God can still use it for good if He wants to.

PS: I can't help but wonder what Doug Marlette would have made of this if he were still alive & drawing Kudzu. I am sure the Rev. Will B. Dunn would have found some way to use it to advance his efforts to run for president.
