A Prayer Challenge to Battle Abortion

Anyone who regularly reads this blog knows how I emphasis the importance of prayer in battling the "culture of death." Also, I have often mentioned how powerful a weapon the Rosary is in this battle. I point to the story of the Battle of Lepanto as a prime example of why this is so. (More here, scroll down to Battle of Lepanto)

In 2007 a group called St. Michael the Archangel Organization was founded. 1 of their projects is an annual 1 Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies. This year the campaign runs from 6-8 May. They are seeking to get as many people as possible to commit to praying at least 1 Rosary (preferably more) during that time for an end to the surgical & non-surgical killing of unborn human persons. You can register here.

This effort gained the approval of Both Cardinal Raymond Burke & Cardinal Francis Arinze in 2008.

In 1571 God worked powerful through those praying the Rosary to bring a victory about for the Catholic Naval forces over the Turkish (Muslim) Naval forces. If we remain faithful to prayer, especially the Rosary, then some day soon we will see a similar defeat of the "culture of death" & the establishment once again of a Culture of Life.
