About Me
- Name: Al
- Location: Dubuque, Iowa, United States
Sono Italiano-americano. I am a member of St Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. I am an advisor to Alpha Phi Omega & College Republicans at Loras College. I am a member of the Dubuque Co. Republican Central Committee. I have been involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement since 1974. For me the overriding issue of the day is defending the preborn & upholding their right to life. If we don't value life before birth, we devalue it after birth. Life is a gift from God. This is why I am a supporter of the work that Dubuque County Right to Life does in my area. & that is why I am politically active. Our nation's laws need to be changed to protect all from conception to natural death.

Atheism takes more faith than Christianity. To say the universe sprang up by pure chance is like saying the watch I wear just appeared by chance. Have you ever seen a subatomic particle? Yet you believe the claim that scientists have proven they exist. Well, I believe they do. But I also believe that science may prove the how of certain things. But it can never prove the why. That can only be explained, no matter how much you protest, by the existance of God.
On the other hand, even your use of the term Common Era shows that you acknowledge the existance of God. May I remind you, that the term CE is used to cover up the fact that our calendar that is most used, but not as commonly as the term would lyingly claim, is based on 1 historical fact. The Son of God, Jesus Christ, was born at a certain place & time, The truth is that the Word made flesh, who created everything is what our calendar revolves around.
Besides, without the Catholic Church/Christianity we wouldn't have Western civilization, or modern science for that matter. & please don't bring up the lie about Galileo. He was condemned for making theological claims about the source of truth, not his belief that the earth revolved around the sun.
