Looking Ahead

I have just gotten done scanning the articles at LifeSiteNews & LifeNews about the election. It is clear that the feeling is, understandable euphoric. But I will repeat myself, we cannot sit back now & rest on our laurels.

Now, more than ever we must pray for those in office. Pray for them to do the right thing & work for pro-life legislation & bring us closer to the day when every human being is protected from the 1st instant when he or she comes into being as that 1st cell.

We must also keep those elected officials' feet to the fire. We must do so in a positive & supportive way. But we must also do so in a way that lets them know we expect some positive action & not just show.

& then we must also look to build on Tuesday for 2012.

Ultimately, the battle is in God's hands. But we must do our part. Prayer & action must go hand in hand as we move ahead. It will be easier, but it still will require a lot of hard work & prayer.
