1st a little amateur psychoanalysis. It is interesting that when they talk about pro-aborts & "Mixed Choice" they capitalize the word choice, but for Pro-Lifers they don't. I assume that "Mixed Choice" is the term for those who sometimes advance their agenda to expand the murder of unborn babies.
2nd, the post this is taken from on their blog is pure spin trying to put a happy face on what they know is a setback for them. They try to ignore all the efforts of the Susan B. Anthony Fund, Family Research Council & other Pro-Groups now that they were screaming so loudly about before the election. Instead they act like this was all about the economy. Yes, that was part of it, but Pro-Life WAS a huge factor. If it wasn't, why were they so up in arms before the election? & why are they so concerned now? They know that the tide went our way.
Not that it means the Pro-life side has things handed to us on a silver platter.
Obviously, with Obama in the White House & the Dems in charge of the Senate we won't be able to get everything through. But even the Senate composition means some things might get through. How much is the question.
The fact that not everything won't get through doesn't excuse them from trying. The House will have to stick to their guns when the Senate tries to add funding for abortion back into the budget.
The battle for life has begun. As I said before, it won't be easy. Which is why we must NOT slack in our prayers as well as our other efforts. The "culture of death" isn't going to give up. & neither should we.
