On 24 May Louisiana Governor Booby Jindal said he was tired of waiting for the Army Corp of Engineers approval of his plan to build sand barriers to stop the BP oil spill. Bluntly, I think he should have said "Full speed ahead, damn the Army Corps & the main stream media critics." rather than even wait that long.

Meanwhile on 30 April Attorney General Holder sent a team of Justice Department attorneys to start lawsuits against BP. (Attorney general sends team to Gulf Coast) The statement justifying it was pure BS. "The Justice Department stands ready to make available every resource at our disposal to vigorously enforce the laws that protect the people who work and reside near the Gulf, the wildlife, the environment and the American taxpayers." This shows that the Obama's administration just cares about grabbing power, not protecting the people. If Obama really cared about protecting the people & the environment Jindal wouldn't have had to wait.

As I said, Jindal should have just gone ahead to protect his sovereign state. He would have been well within his Constitutional rights to do so.
