30 Years of Fighting Abortion Through activism & Education.

Today marks the 30th Anniversary of the founding of the Pro-Life Action League by Joe Scheidler. Over the years he has done much to fight abortion. His work resulted in NOW bringing a RICO lawsuit, NOW v. Scheidler, against him in 1986. This lawsuit went all the way to the Supreme Court which found that he was not guilty of extortion.
His his wife, Ann, is the Executive Director of the Pro-Life Action League. They have 7 children, including League staffers Annie Casselman & Eric Scheidler & 18 grandchildren.
As I mentioned the other day, I had the priviledge of meeting him when he came to CR to help us give PP's Cecile Richards the message that Planned Parenthood is not welcome.
May God richly bless him & the League for their efforts in defending life.
