Some Thoughts on the Scott Brown Victory

Last night when it was announced that Scott Brown had won, I will admit I was surprized. I had hoped he would win simply because he opposed ObamaCare & supports parental notification laws. Sadly that is about as pro-life as he gets. But better than what Coakley would have been.
That aside, most of the pundants have been talking about what this means to Obama & health care. It is clear that even Obama has realized he was dealt a set back.
But, while ObamaCare may have been dealt a setback, it isn't dead, just critically wounded. & it still may get through somehow. What I suspect is that they will dismantle it & pass through a few reforms to claim victory. Then watch out!!! Why?? Because then they will think everyone opposing ObamaCare will relax & focus their attention elsewhere. At that point they will try to sneak it through piece by piece attaching them to other bills. Sort of like how Dr. Frankenstein took body parts from various corpses. In the end we will end up with FrankenObamaCare. Given that there are plenty of Pro-life watchdogs out there, the Dems will still have a difficult time. But I suspect they will still try.
Finally, 1 of the biggest losers yesterday was not Coakley, or Obama, it was the pro-abortion, partisan Democratic PAC, EMILY's List. They put a huge effort into campaigning for Coakley, even to the point of painted Brown as super anti-abortion. Not the 1st time abortion promoters have resorted to lying. I will admit that anything that makes them unhappy, makes me happy. Again, Brown isn't strong pro-life, but the fact that he does support some limits & did win in Massachusetts is a sign that maybe the message is starting to get through & people's views are shifting. Again, we can't relax. instead our efforts must be strong than ever, starting on our knees in prayer, so we can will the country over to a full "culture of life".

Al, was also surprised that Brown isn't exactly a Pro-Lifer. We have to take small victories in the ongoing Battle between Good and Evil. This is a GOOD beginning.

Keep praying your Rosary. Our Lady and her Angels are doing their work here in the U.S.
