What NOT to Get Someone for Christmas

No, this time I am not talking about the Planned Parenthood gift certificate that many locations offer. Although you clearly should not give them.

Instead I am talking what its promoter calls the "peaceful pill" that contains Nembutal, the favored drug for ending life. You may remember that it was an OD of Nembutal that killed famous actress Marilyn Monroe. For the most part it is used by veterinarians as an anesthetic & euthanasia drug for animals.

This pill is being promoted by Dr. Philip Nitschke, founder of Exit International (Australia) & author of "The Peaceful Pill Handbook". At a a "peaceful pill" seminar on 16 December he said "There are people here in this room who I know have bought that (euthanasia medication) for their loved ones as Christmas presents."

As Right to Life Australia Queensland coordinator Graham Preston said, "A pill to kill yourself and your loved one as a Christmas present is absolutely reprehensible."

Speaking of reprehensible Nitschke's "The Peaceful Pill Handbook" also includes information on the use of an "exit bag." & on His website you can find a video called "Doing it with Betty," in which a nurse explains how to assemble a plastic hood used to place over a suicidal person's head. & get this, she even suggests people get their hair done if they "want to look nice."

This is the sick mentality that is the "culture of death" folks. This is what we are up against. I remind you again that Jesus came to bring life. We must bring that gift to those out there who see what the "culture of life" calls a "good death" is anything but.
