A Depressingly Sad Sign of the Times
I was watching a program on Food TV that I won't mention the name of to protect the guilty yesterday. It was a "Holiday Cookie Swap" special. The hostess introduced her 1 guest with a statement that showed me an excellent example of how sick, demented & perverted our society has gotten.
She said this woman extols the spirit of giving at this holiday season because she was a surrogate mother for her sister.
Giving a kindey for a sister, yes, But surrogate mother. Last I looked the Catholic Church's teachings on that gave excellent reasons why that is not OK since it would involve either artificial insemination or In Vitro Fertilization. & please, don't pull a Sr. Donna & tell me that Mary was artificially impregnated to justify it. She wasn't & it doesn't.

I am relieved to say it wasn't Giada. The "Lady" I am refering to occasionally has her sons on as well. (& if that doesn't give it away. . . .)
